Your session fee includes time, travel, and talent of the photographer, as well as editing & basic retouching of your finalized images. I invite you to use and post the watermarked images freely on social media sites. Your session fee guarantees you 10 finalized images delivered via online gallery for digital downloads in full resolution, unwatermarked, JPEG format and print release for personal use.
Prices are subject to change at any time, however your paid retainer fee locks in your rate. A retainer fee is required to secure your session date. You will be sent an invoice via email with payment instructions when we have a tentative date in place. Your retainer is non-refundable, however may be applied to rescheduled sessions with 72 hours notice. The balance of your session fee is due at the time of your session and is payable via cash, check, or major credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover).
Sessions run approximately 60 minutes, depending on session type. Newborn sessions typically run a bit longer, about 3-4 hours on average. This window of time allows for baby’s needs to be attended to first and foremost without feeling rushed and provides the best opportunities for those precious, sleeping newborn poses.
I am happy to shoot at a location of your choosing. Sometimes clients will have a specific location that is meaningful to them. In other cases, a college or university campus, public park, or historic downtown district near the client's home tend to work well. Newborn sessions are shot in your home. We can further discuss what location(s) may best suit your needs depending upon the purpose of your photo shoot.
Sessions are booked either in the morning (8am-10am) or evening (4pm-6pm) on Wednesday-Sundays. Times vary according to season. As a general guideline, younger children tend to do best with morning sessions. Mornings also have more flattering natural light for outdoor locations.
I look forward to working with you soon!
